Asuto Ishiba (石 (いし) 破 (ば) 明 (あ) 日 (す) 人 (と) , Ishiba Asuto^?) better known as Burst (バースト, Bāsuto^?) is a supporting character in Witch Watch series.

He's a student at Asunaro High School and a member of the student council, he's the Public Relationship Representative.

Etymology

• The name Asuto means "bright/light" (明) (a), "day/sun" (日) (su) and "person" (人) (to).
• Asuto's surname Ishiba means "stone" (石) (ishi) and "rend/rip/break/destroy" (破) (ba).
• His nickname Burst means "explosion".

Appearance

Burst is a tall person, being the tallest of the entire student council. He always wears furs showing off his chest, as well as having fighting marks on his body and face.

His hair is green and long so he has a wild appearance, he also has an X-shaped scar on his forehead. He has thick, brown lips. In addition to the furs, he wears green pants, a black belt with a gold buckle, and sandals.

Personality

Despite his wild appearance, Burst is a calm person and usually does his job, although he also shows that he has a wild side when he enjoys breaking things. He has also been seen studying in the library showing that he at least has that habit.

History

He was recruited by Tenryu to join the student council as the public relationship representative.

Relationships

Tenryu Kiyomiya

Like the rest of the student council members, Burst has great respect for Tenryu by choosing him to be part of the council. Burst participated in the surprise party organized by the student council for Tenryu, showing his appreciation and affection towards him.

Rest of the Student Council

Burst gets along well with the others, being their friends as well as their fellow council members. He often goes out with them from time to time.
