Mii Tsuchiya (土 (つち) 屋 (や) 美 (み) 依 (い) , Tsuchiya Mī^?) is a supporting character in Witch Watch series.

She's a child actress known as Chami or Chamy (チャミー, Chamī^?). Unbeknownst to most, Chami is a witch known as the Summoner Witch (召 (しょう) 喚 (かん) の魔 (ま) 女 (じょ) , Shōkan no Majo^?) and works as Nico's magic tutor.

Etymology

• The name Mii means "beauty" (美) (mi) and "reliant/consequently" (依) (i).
• Mii's surname Tsuchiya means "soil/ground" (土) (tsuchi) and "roof/house/seller" (屋) (ya).

Appearance

Chami usually ties her hair in two ponytails on either side of her head with two black bows. She wears a hood with a drawing of three hearts on the front.

Personality

Chami is a child actress so she is always working, this has caused her to not have any friends or free time for herself, despite this Chami is a kind girl who does not hesitate to use her abilities to help others even if this puts her in danger.

History

She started acting at the age of 3, although she doesn't remember it.

At some point after manifesting her powers, Chami would begin to have conversations in her mind, over time the voice in her head would begin to have its own personality so Chami used to talk to the voice so as not to feel alone. Over time Chami would give it the name Slump. Due to Chami's work, Slump became a great emotional support for her.

Despite Slump's help, Chami began to have negative feelings towards her life in general, causing her to slowly become a warlock, until one day she met Ibuki, who told her about her powers and convinced Chami and her mother to live in Yuzenkyo for a while so that Chami could learn to use her powers, during one of her practices she would be able to summon Slump and finally meet him in person after so many years.

Currently, Chami is Nico's magic tutor, which is Chami's way of returning the favor to Ibuki.

Friends

• Slump: Slump is Chami's best friend as well as her servant and bodyguard, although Chami usually treats him as her servant in reality Slump is someone important to her, Slump being the reason why Chami would not leave acting when she was just starting out.

• Nico Wakatsuki: Chami would begin training Nico at Ibuki's request, over time Chami began to feel comfortable with Nico and the members of the Otogi family, spending time with Nico and not having any friends due to her work as an actress and witch, Chami began to see Nico as a friend and a younger sister.
