Rui Fujiki (
He's Miharu and Furan's best friend and also an ally of the Otogi Household. He was the student council president of Magani Middle School and is currently a member of the student council at Asunaro High School.
Etymology[]
- The name Rui means "accumulate/involvement/trouble/continually" (累) (rui).
- Rui's surname Fujiki means "wisteria" (藤) (fuji) and "tree/wood" (木) (ki).
Appearance[]
He usually wears his school uniform and glasses. Due to his uncontrollable destructive urge, he wears a black mask.
Personality[]
He's a person who likes justice, so he seeks to help people. He is also a passionate person towards what he likes like discovering people of different species.
As a descendant of Jekyll, he possesses an uncontrollable destructive urge.
History[]
He's a descendant of Jekyll from Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, so he possesses a destructive urge that he cannot control on his own.
Due to his Jekyll roots, he became interested in descendants discovering that there are people with roots of werewolves, tengus, vampires, ogres and witches so his desire is to find them.
After Miharu takes him to meet his friends, Jekyll visits the Otogi house whenever he can.
Relationships[]
Miharu Kiryu[]
Rui and Miharu met out of curiosity when Rui was investigating bullying at school, it would later be discovered that due to Rui's offspring he used to have destructive impulses being unable to control himself, seeing this Miharu would offer to help him in exchange for him being his source of food at school revealing to him that he was a vampire. From that moment on they would both begin to meet in secret so that Miharu could absorb Rui's energy. Both would become friends thanks to sharing a common secret and thanks to Miharu, Rui would discover that witches, werewolves, ogres and vampires existed something that he wanted to see for a long time. This friendship developed over time with Miharu and Rui supporting each other through thick and thin, even going to Asunaro High School together.
Furan Tsugihagi[]
During one of her secret meetings with Miharu, they would be discovered by Furan, a scientist who wanted to extort them by thinking that both were selling drugs at the school, however, upon discovering the secret of both she decided to reveal hers to them, becoming friends. As with Miharu, the friendship with Furan would grow over time going together to the Asunaro High School.
Otogi Household Members[]
Rui was excited to meet them as he wanted to meet more people with strange descent like his, over time Rui became friends with them going to their house regularly.
Tenryu Kiyomiya[]
Rui would meet Tenryu by confusing the members of the student council with the Otogi family, despite this mistake Rui was recruited by Tenryu to be part of the student council when he entered Asunaro High School. Later while being a student at Asunaro High School, Rui would enter the student council with the goal of one day being Tenryu's successor.
Student Council Members[]
Just like with Tenryu, Rui would meet the council members by mistake and get along with them. By studying at Asunaro, Rui would integrate into the council and start getting along with everyone.
Abilities[]
- Destructive Urge: He possesses a massive destruction impulse acquiring great strength. During this state he calls himself Hyde.
Equipment[]
- Fighter Mask: He uses the mask to hide his face when he destroys things.
Trivia[]
- His lineage is unknown so it is not really known what species he belongs to but it is known that he is not human.[3]
