Tengu

Tengus (天 (てん) 狗 (ぐ) , Tengu^?) are a race of people descended from familiars, the supernatural assistants of witches.

The tengus are descendants of Crows Familiars (カラスの使 (つか) い魔 (ま) , Karasu no Tsukaima^?).

Overview

Tengus are sociable and friendly beings, they also have incredible social skills, which means that they can become friends with a person from one day to the next.

The tengu are a species known to control the wind, they usually live in the forests and live between clans. Within the tengu there is a group called the 5 great tengus, a group made up of the strongest contemporary tengus led by Kakuraibo.

History

Like ogres, witches and werewolves, tengus are believed to have arrived in Japan around the year 1600.

The tengus had a rivalry with the ogres, so they used to confront each other, this rivalry was instilled over time. Due to the weakening of the familiars, the ogres and the tengus decided to put their rivalry aside in current times.

• Wind Control: Tengus can control the wind at will using it to attack.
• Talk to ravens: Tengus can talk to the ravens, this allows them to know the exact location of a person or some object.

• Kazamatsuri Clan (風 (かざ) 祭 (まつり) 一 (いち) 族 (ぞく) , Kazamatsuri Ichizoku^?) is a clan of tengus who live on the mountain where Yuzenkyo, the witch village, is located. Kakuraibo is the leader of the mountain as well as the leader of the tengus. In ancient times, the Kazamatsuri used to be retainers of the Wakatsuki Family.
