Tenryu Kiyomiya (清 (きよ) 宮 (みや) 天 (てん) 流 (りゅう) , Kiyomiya Tenryū^?) is a supporting character in Witch Watch series.

He's a student at Asunaro High School and the student council president, he's also Suzuka's older brother.

Etymology

• The name Tenryu means "heaven/sky/imperial" (天) (ten) and "flow/style/manner/method" (流) (ryu).
• Tenryu's surname Kiyomiya means "clear/pure" (清) (kiyo) and "temple/shrine/palace" (宮) (miya).

Appearance

Tenryu's hair is blonde and his eyes are yellow. His height is average.

Tenryu normally wears a military outfit. When he's not in high school he usually wears formal clothes like sweaters but not leaving aside his cap, which according to him is part of him so he can't take it off.

Personality

Tenryu is a stubborn person when he wants something, he is also very loyal towards his friends and fellow student council members. He tries to help all the students at Asurano High School.

Despite his controlling personality, Tenryu is respected by all members of the student council and students of Asunaro High School. He has a weakness for strange people and tries to get them to join the student council, this attitude has been compared to collecting abandoned cats.

History

Since he was a child, Tenryu was instilled with the idea of being firm and learning about leadership. Since he was very young, he was friends with Yuzuru Kenmochi, who would become his vice president when Tenryu was president of the student council at Asunaro.

Upon becoming president, he would personally select the members of the student council with the goal of having ten members on the council.

When Nico entered high school and was revealed to be a witch, the student council sought a way to control her powers and decided to ban her from using magic. At the time of communicating to Nico, they met Morihito, whom Tenryu always tries to convince to join the council.
